Studies 13, 2023 Fettered Frontiers: Founding of the Moreton Bay Settlement by Jennifer Harrison. An investigation of the struggle to locate and establish an outpost in remote Moreton Bay. The research for the book concentrated on the economic, climatic and legal back stories, together with the characters who made the decisions in London, Port Jackson (Sydney) and locally as well as the convicts who undertook the heavy manual work.
